Caliber Comics was a specialty publishing
house for comics, primarily creator owned comics when it launched in 1989.
The initial releases were Deadworld, Realm (both continuing from Arrow
Comics) Baker Street, Moontrap, Crow, and Caliber Presents. Over the
next ten years, it published over 1300 comics and ranked as one of the
leading independent publishers. Caliber has introduced hundreds of
creators and titles into the marketplace. During the declining
market in the late 1990's and early 2000 years, Caliber slowly reduced its
publishing output until it ceased all publishing. Many of the titles
have gone on to new publishers, even those owned by Caliber and/or its
principles including Baker Street, Deadworld, Disciples, Saint Germaine,
Kilroy, Negative Burn, Raven Chronicles, Red Diaries, and others soon
to follow.
