the REALM!

    The Realm is a land of magic, of dragons and wizards, of trolls and elves, of war and politics.

    It started off as a series from Arrow Comics which was written by Stuart Kerr and Ralph Griffith and illustrated by Guy Davis.  The first volume ran 12 issues from Arrow before WeeBee Comics did #13.  Caliber picked it up with issue 14 and the first series went to issue 20.   It was relaunched with volume 2 which ran 13 issues.  Since then, it has metamorphisized into the current title of LegendLore which as of the end of 1998, has had 15 issue out.

    The information here covers primarily what has occurred in the first volume which was the introductory series.  Between the first and second volumes, an epic cataclysm occurred called "Daemonstorm" which changed forever the world of the Realm.  Some of those changes are notated here as well.  The Daemonstorm changed not only the physical landscape of the land of Azoth (which is the continent that the events of the Realm occur on) but also the time period as different areas of Azoth were affected by time changes.  Some areas saw only a few months go past while others were wrapped up in decades of changes.

    Enjoy this in-depth look at the world of The Realm  We will be updating material soon to bring it up to date with the events going on through the LegendLore series.  But this will serve as a great primer or handbook to the World of the Realm
