Man Who
Would Be King

Man who would be King

"Brother to a Prince

and fellow to a beggar,

if he be found worthy.'

The classic adventure tale of Rudyard Kipling about two ex-soldiers who decide they want to build an empire. Peachy Carnehan and Daniel Dravot embark on a mission to lead a backwards land, to rule primitive people, to take possession of a county....

To be Kings.

They journey to Kafiristan (part of Afghanistan) on the same path that the great conqueror, Alexander the Great once took. There, they use their military experience and modern weaponry to establish themselves as great warriors. Then, a fateful event occurs, mainly of the ignorance of the natives and the English men are elevated to the level of near godhood...of kings.

One of them is believed by the natives to be the return of Alexander himself!

And then, it is no longer the tale of two adventurers for one of them is destined for greater things.

He is the Man who Would be King.
