Guy Davis, who is best known for his work on DC Vertigo's Sandman Mystery Theatre, unfurled the shroud off of his very own creator-owned project from Caliber Comics, all the while muttering the phrase "Hell hath no fury..."
Only the first issue (the prelude) came from Caliber as Guy moved it over to Oni Press to continue the series.
The Marquis is a story of horror and repentance set in Victorian England. It is the gothic tale of one man's quest to revenge himself upon the damned. A hunter of escaped souls from Hell, this lone man dons the darkened garb of cloak and mask and brandishes weapons of destruction in this crusade against the condemned. What is it that drives him? What is it that he sees?
