Mr. Trianglehead

Mr. Trianglehead from Jim CalafioreAnnounced as a series, this only had a single issue released as the creator, Jim Calafiore, departed to work for many titles at Valiant before moving onto Aquaman for DC.

It starts with the appearance of a speaking, inverted pyramid who spouts claims of divinity and who forms a church amidst the displaced and cast off of a deep, deep, inner city.

The story is also about other things. The story is a life, it is the trinity. It’s hope and disappointment, it’s bitter humor. It’s a dead dog and an undead woman. It’s voyeurism, sarcasm, commercialism, and baptism. It’s blood. It’s hate. It’s a divine intrusion. It’s bigotry and loneliness. It’s money. It’s crucifixion. It’s empty hands and searching eyes. It’s rejection. It’s salvation.

And above all, it’s death.

Wow, that’s a lot for a 32 page comic, isn’t it?
