Metzger is a weapons practitioner, an elite force dispatched to handle serious crime in a future Britain ruled by "The Country". Metzger is also a practical man and when an android calling himself Morgan Nadir is thrust upon him to help remove suspect violent squatters from a new banking complex, his first impressions are that the man-machine needs to be send back to the laboratory, for he insists telling Metzger that supernatural forces are at work. Metzger maintains his skepticism, but he’ll learn...he’ll have no choice once the Stratosfear awakens!
