When the New Republic found itself being overwhelmed by progressively violent crime, their prisoner containment facilities were found to be woefully inadequate. since the idea of reform for hardened criminals was abandoned many years before, they decided on another alternative. the Coalition contracted a terra-forming technology company who took a barren planetoid and transformed it into the ultimate prison facility. The entire population would be populated by individuals who no longer were capable of functioning in a civilized society.
A sentence to the Planetentiary is for life, although the average life expectancy is less than 5 years. Sentences are never commuted. Prisoners are never paroled. And since it's inception, there have been no escapes.
Tyreliius Belizone is a Curator of Public Safety whose friends call him Ty...his enemies, they call him THRILL-KILL. He is efficient in taking care of the criminal element but sometimes causes problems with his superiors. One superior feels Thrill-Kill is a threat and arranges him to be accused of a crime.
Now Thrill Kill is sentenced to the Planetentiary for life...and many of the occupants were put their by him. He doesn't stand a chance and everyone knows it.
However, one thing the terra-forming company neglected to tell anyone...the planet they changed over had a native population, one that no one knows about...until Thrill Kill discovers the beautiful Lana. Together, they may just be able to survive.
