TRIGGER MAN

The Trigger Man centers around two themes. The primary plot concerns Matthew Harris, convicted serial killer who survives his apparent execution, it having been secretly rigged by a government Agency, and who is hired by this Agency - in return for his life - to help them catch more of his kind.

Secondly, The Trigger Man is designed to offer an insight into the psychology of the serial killer, through examining the life history of Harris and of those he encounters - serial killers have invariable suffered an abusive childhood, and the story explores how that might be translated, for some, into an adult life which magnifies that greatly.

Also, through the character of the government Agent who is Harris' contact, it poses some questions about the nature of those who can kill with government sanction, and asks what the difference is between them and those who kill without. Written by real life British Psychologist, Malcolm Bourne.  Illustrated by Mark Bloodworth.  First issue was 32 pages, second was 64 pages.
