A PREMIER COMIC AND GRAPHIC NOVEL PUBLISHER

Charles Chester is an award winning filmmaker and television director: Currently known for Boy Zero and The Children of Fleeting Light. As a curious child he stumbled upon a locked drawer of his fathers; determined to uncover its secrets he waited for the right moment and picked the lock. Nervous and anxious, he was half expecting to find Playboys or a dirty family secret. His find was single handedly the greatest influence on his life and molded him into what he is today. Strewn about the drawer were the complete works of Stephen King and Clive Barker. He fawned over the macabre covers, memorizing their eerie images and brief story descriptions. While his father was at work he would sneak these books away. As most other children were playing, he was reading the marvelous, horrific and impossible tales of creatures, murder and mystery. Today he proudly displays these dark secrets upon his shelves. He is currently working on the sequels to Boy Zero: Crestfallen; Wake, The Mourning; and Cissy. As well as the 12 part series Filthy Godless Heathens.

In this second volume, the moment of Zero is upon us. The answers to ‘What is the Zero moment?’ are ready to be answered as new evidence surfaces on The Boogeyman killings. This draws the police toward a new lead while the children decide to take matters into their own hands.

The hunt for a serial killer leads a veteran detective

back to a decades old case.

A serial killer has crippled Glass City with fear for the better part of a year. Killing to a soundtrack, he mysteriously has tapped into the city’s PA systems and radio frequencies; uniting the city in the moments of his murders. The city looks to Detective Drekker to solve the impossible case. A clue strikes like lightning to Drekker’s memory, a place in his mind kept neatly filed away in an evidence locker for twenty years. We journey with Drekker into his past, to one of his first cases ‘The Boogeyman Killings’. In which a small town is plagued by child murders. A case that was thought to be solved but now seems to be the key to Glass City’s fate. Detective Drekker is caught between the tangled mysteries that could be supernatural in nature. As we jump back and forth in time we count to a Zero Moment; the moment that Drekker overlooked. The moment that connects the mysteries and his entire career. All the while a foreboding prediction comes the way of a tip off letter, that if Drekker can’t solve the cases soon- the entire city will burn and crumble, killing millions.
